Capital City Painting LLC was established in 2018 by James Fraley. James is an Ohio native who served in the United States Army as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer for over a decade before making Columbia, South Carolina his home. Capital City Painting LLC was created with the intention of providing a top-notch service at a very competitive price.
A primary focus of Capital City Painting LLC is treating its customers with respect, integrity, and clear communication. The painting industry is full of contractors ranging from independent contractors to large scale companies and we fall right in the middle.

Capital City Painting were responsive, professional, and efficient. My wife and I purchased a home that needed a lot of work, including water damage ceiling repair, popcorn ceiling removal, sanding and removal of old oil based paint, and a brand new coat of paint in the entire interior. We had an amazing experience with Capital City Painting. We bought a 101 year old house that hadn’t been washed or painted in over a decade. First of all, I was impressed with the quick follow-up I received from Bobby Hollis to my inquiry via Angi's List. (I had already called three other painters recommended on Next Door Myrtle Beach and never got a call back.)
We talked through my painting needs. Bobby was able to give me a quote and a start date at our initial meeting.

Our experience with this crew was excellent! Everyone was prompt, communicative and wonderful to work with. We got the entire interior of our house done (popcorn ceiling removal, walls, trim, the works) and they got it done in 4 days and kept us in the loop the whole time. Very quick to come in and do the final touch ups after our walk through, and we have a 1 year warranty if anything comes up. They also gave us a much better price than other companies we got quotes from. Overall a great company, would highly recommend!
